As you view these pictures, notice the depth behind her hip bone and her spine so incredibly evident. Also pay attention to the trench
underneath her feet that she created for the three days she lay there and the cuts on her legs from making contact with the barbwire.
She was struggling to get up, but obviously her body was too weak to gather the momentum needed to accomplish that. In the last picture
you can see the dirt caked into her teeth. She undoubtedly suffered far more than any of us could possibly know. Her condition showed "NO
